Gameplay Flow
Review community agreements: Read the community agreements together, and add in any agreements that are supportive to your experience
Decide game length: As a group, start by aligning on how long you have to play, or how many turns you’d like to get through. Depending on group size, we recommend playing for at least an hour, reserving 15 of those minutes for Let’s Warm Up, Let’s Wrap, and debriefing. On average, each turn should take approximately 5 minutes.
Starting the game: Begin with Let’s Warm Up card → choose one person to start, and go in a circle to complete the two rounds of warm up.
Take turns drawing a prompt in a circle: When it is your turn, choose a card from one of the piles and ask the group the question. You may choose to respond or allow others to respond.
Ending a turn: To end the turn, when the discussion feels complete, each player slides in the Impact Card they felt the most as far into the center as they felt that impact card (the closer to center the stronger you feel it). The player whose turn it is can choose to take a share or two based on where Impact Cards are placed. Note: For time sake, estimate about 5 minutes on average per turn.
Let’s pause: At any point in the game, any player can flip over the Let’s Warm Up card to play the Let’s Pause side, choosing a regulation option for the group. Participating is an invitation and is optional for other players. Once completed, flip the card back over to the Let’s Warm Up side. Turns in a circle resume after the pause is completed.
Ending the game: Close the game by following the prompts on the Lets Wrap card. We recommend spending a few minutes after wrapping up debriefing the game together:
What stands out to you from today’s game?
What bridges feel stronger now?
How did the impact cards influence your experience?
How might you take your learnings and these practices into your daily life?

sPECIAL PROMPTS
Agree or Disagree: Slide in your Resonance or Yes And card as far into the center as you agree or disagree, respectively.
Stack: When you play a “stack” card, read the statement and place the card in the center of the circle. Other players add nuance or another perspective to the previous statement by placing their Yes-And card on top. It's Yes AND, not Yes BUT. Player adding nuance must find their “yes” in the previous share before adding their nuance.
Word Cloud: Players speak words freely related to a theme, creating a collective brainstorm that anyone can contribute to at any time.
Going in a Circle: Each player takes a turn responding to the prompt in order around the circle, with the option to pass.
Timer: If indicated, player whose turn it is should start and follow the timer for this activity.
Community Agreements
Meet Your Tender Edge / Cocreate a Brave Space: Meet the edge of your comfort zone to challenge yourself without pushing yourself too far. We will create a brave space for each of us to be courageous to meet our tender edges.
Stay Present & Relational: Stay present and attuned to yourself and the group, recognizing and honoring shifts in you from moment to moment
Honor Your Needs: Take care of yourself and use your coregulation and break cards as needed.
Speak from “I,” listen fully, and avoid debate. We are practicing empathy, curiosity, and active listening.
